Leadership = Engagement = Emotion [Video]

In this video, I discuss the role of fear in the workplace. How can fear, anxiety, or lack of trust impact how people perform in their jobs?

Fear can take away our ability to perform even simple tasks. For many employees, the workplace is full of stress and fear due to poor systems, confusing bureaucracies, bad working relationships, or difficult bosses.

Emotions come into play every day in the workplace. You must discover what elements in your workplace are causing negative emotions, and find solutions to fix them. A leader must reduce fear and anxiety to help employees the job to the best of their ability.

The bottom line: you can’t begin to understand the factors impacting your workforce unless you measure employee engagement.

Once you have this understanding, you can make changes to reduce stress and fear in the workplace and create a high performance culture.
